To be fairrrrrrrrrrrrrr. He couldn't even stop an average puck. Don't downplay his game today, This is a big step.

Well in the past, he let in those softies so the fact that has not happened this game is a bonus.

That is not enough games to make a judgement and he was great in the A. Let the guy have a chance. He has played 70 games with limited ice time and has 21 points. Even if he doesn't improve on that at all he is still not a useless plug.

Flames played pretty much a perfect period.

Excellent.

No, but it was a meh period of hockey. The Coyotes and that arena are incapable of exciting hockey.

Shoeletynin a tight game. So good! Smith seems different this aft. A little less all over the place.

Solid road period, I'm very happy with that.

Sean Monahan 2018-2019 Tap In Count: 10

And he should have had one more on that one timer. Amazing save by Raanta.

Derek Wills @Fan960Wills
For those who’ve asked why the #Flames are wearing red on the road trip - the Golden Knights wear their whites at home once in a while, so they asked to Flames wear their reds and teams usually don’t travel with two sets of jerseys, so they’re wearing red vs. Coyotes, too.

I guess an afternoon game in Arizona has very little going in term of excitement. It's the epitome of a late November grind game, it's just, you know, going on. I was also a bit interested in what the Coyotes were about this season as they've been very up and down, but they have been pretty bland today.

The Coyotes are a bad team and should feel bad.

That 1-2-2 trap is ugly

So everyone is worried about Smith and meanwhile Raanta lets in an absolutely laugher. That Hanifin goal was baaaaad. Terrible angle. Worse than almost every bad Smith goal this year.

Flawless means, literally, without flaw.

Nothing more nothing less.
