I think I know why Carolina has such a horrible team shooting percentage. Anything near the goalie was counted as a shot for them in the 1st.

I had forgotten how much I hated hearing other broadcasters saying "FurrLAAAND."

Dougie with zero pressure on Kapanen and Kap snipes a goal. That was visually lazy by Dougie.

Yeah. He technically kept him to the outside, but Kapanen had time and space

I remember that and do not miss it

I like when the Leafs lose. Not because I dislike the team or any of their players. The fans are just so annoying.

Buffalo and Tampa are going to win tonight.

3 of the Top 4 teams in the League are in the Atlantic.

It's going to be a real dogfight all season for the Leafs.

Buffalo wins their 6th in a row and you have to make it about the Leafs

Well, of course. Isn't everything about the Leafs?

Tampa bay is smoking the Panthers on their home ice 7-2. Panthers were never really in this one.

I guess that's the response you would expect from their loss to Nashville and losing their place at the top of the league.

Welp, at least Mike Hoffman continues his point streak to 17 games. Sure, it's in a bad loss, but that's a nice story so far for the Panthers. The next best streak was Pavel Bure with 13 games.

Habs lose 5-2 to NJ. Friedman shows the goals, they are well executed by NJ and not well defended by Montreal.

Burke on Carey Price:
“I’ve always only felt me goaltenders need to answer for the goals they should have stopped. Not could have stopped, necessarily, should have stopped. These are goals on any goaltender in this league.”

(I felt the same way about a lot of Malcolm Subban’s goals last game)

Pretty amazing what the Leafs have done without Matthews and Nylander. How many teams could be missing their top centre and first line winger and still be 3rd in the standings. Really incredible depth when you think about it.
