Default Nov 20 - just one game

Only one OOT game tonight: Edmonton at San Jose, but it comes with renewed interest to see how the first game on the Hitchcock era goes. Really, it’s a win win for us tonight. Oilers win and we keep top spot in the Pacific and it’ll convince the masses that Hitchcock is the answer to all there woes. Oilers lose and well, it’s always fun to watch the Oilers lose.

Anything but a 3 point game would be ideal. Not sure who I will be cheering against though.

I'm hoping for a Sharks win I suppose. Yeah, they jump ahead of us again but the Oilers stay further back.

And really, #### them.

Honestly finishing second in the division might be for the best. We'd avoid the likely wildcard winner from the Central division. The Pacific is the easier path. Therefore let the Sharks finish 1st and the Flames can take whoever else comes out of the Pacific.

Outside of it being way to early to discuss playoffs seeds, that would like a pretty big loser mentality for the Flames to have. If you're avoiding the fourth best team of a division instead of looking at home ice advantage in the next round...

Oilers will "purposefully" lose this one, just to spite us...

Doesnt matter to me really, we can take care of our business now that we can get the occasional save.

So the Oil can lose away!

This is going to fun, I almost want to watch it just to see what happens with a team that had no discernable system to speak of playing under Hitch after just a couple of pointers at practice.

"So, uh, you guys suck. You're aware of this? Could you try dialing it down to more manageable '11' or so....?"

San Jose is a far superior team and will likely win tonight, which isn't ideal for the Flames. But honestly, it's so fun watching the Oilers lose, I'll happily watch the Sharks destroy them tonight just so I can laugh.

Can't cheer for the Sharks. But laughing at the Oilers is completely acceptable.

A true Flames fan always wishes for the Grease to be embarrassed and then worry about everyone else.

Live from the Shark Tank, it's Tuesday night!

Just as MisterJoji posted it is the solo game in the NHL.

The Flames could finish first in the division and end up playing the fourth place team in the Pacific Division. The Flames could finish first in the conference, who knows who they would end up playing. It is November, so, just win baby.

The way the draft is done all secretly behind closed doors, I don’t think they’d allow it. The other owners would revolt. 5 #1’s in 9 years with a #4, #3 and #7 sprinkled in there? The rest of the league would lose it.
