Habs with the edge in play to start this period. Not good.

I feel bad for Sam honestly. Having to play wing. Having to play with Brouwer. Gulutzan turning him into a grinder. Terrible mismanagement of a top 4 pick.

I've liked Bennett this season, but to blame everything on his line mates every year is getting ridiculous. Bennett would start scoring goals if he learns to shoot the puck. His shot is horrible.
Meanwhile Neal has what 8 straight 20 goal seasons and he's a scrub ? Lol.

Reality check. Sam Bennet has 0 points when his line scored the 2 goals of the game. Not calling him a scrub, but he isn't exactly making a difference. Hathaway has been as good.

Misleading much? One of Tkachuk's goals was on the PP with Lindholm, Gaudreau, and Monahan. On the other goal, Bennett spent half his shift with the Monahan line after Lindholm limped off the ice, and then Bennett and Tkachuk kept the pressure on allowing a tired Bennett to complete his shift, while Tkachuk still had fresh legs. And it Gio/Brodie and Gio/Lindholm who had the other assists, not Backlund or even Gaudreau.

Are we being serious?
Brouwer, as a Flame, brutal. Neal, brutal this year. Ryan, brutal this year. Jankowski, mediocore.
What am I missing? Developing your top 4 pick who was looking to be an elite #1 center coming out of junior this way was just awful. Just brutal development.
I wholeheartedly think we'd have a different Sam Bennett if Hartley wasn't fired as well. The "Glutz" somehow covinced Sam he was a grinder and played him on the 3rd line.

So many plays die on the stick of Ryan. I want to like the guy, but from what I have seen so far this year is very uninspiring.

He is somehow a useless bum due to having 0 points when his linemate has 2 goals. How, I dunno.

Lindholms taking a licking tonight and still keeps on ticking. Good on him. although that last shift he looked right out of it in front of the net battling for position with the Habs D man.
Love the fact he ate crap hard into the boards, springs right back up and crunches a Hab player causing a turn over.
