I don’t get the hate as well. Maybe it’s because I’m so focused on the game that I drown out the announcers a lot of the time. But yes. There is a lot of hate for certain announcers. Of course Edmonton’s homers makes sense.

If I had to describe Cassie it would be insipid. Great player not so good at doing colour.

Flames need to play a bit quicker. The Sharks are having an easy time getting back and adjusting to plays. They have been pretty stifled except, oddly enough, the fourth line.

Valimaki and Stone don't look as good as Valimaki and Andersson.

Was Bennett back out since that hit?

In nine of Mike Smith’s 12 starts, one of the first six shots he has faced has gone in the net.

Smith got better, but goaltending was the difference that period. Jones was perfect, and Smith allowed a weak one.

Improvement is visible though. He only spotted the Sharks one.

Cuts. Contract ran out, not renewed. Plus I think shes happy where shes at now anyways.

Met her at Stampede two years ago and asked why she left. Not a lot of detail but that was the gist. She was awesome because she would get fired up at them old timey hockey men because they had no clue what they were talking about in intermissions. Especially about the Flames. Showed she paid attention to the team she was covering.
