Pretty sure Smith started a few back to backs last year, especially early on.

Tomorrow's game is too important to stick to Smith.
Rittich gives a much better chance to win, and San Jose is a direct rival in the standings.

Reward him, he deserves it.

Love seeing Hamonic play well.

What an encouraging thing to hear from rittich... Says peter's made significant changes to the system after the 9-1 loss.

That adjusting in the fly was missing under gg.

Also... Been said but wow Hamonic. Didn't know he had that in him tbh. First time I've understood why they gave up so much for him!

I'm just beginning to Bill-ieve.....cautious for the time being, but he seems to make adjustments, and be able to juggle as needed. Optimistic for the first time in a long time.

This has gotta be his last chance as anointed #1. If he let's in a couple softies again or keeps kicking rebounds into the slot, time to make the switch.

I will be the first to admit that Rittich has FAR exceeded expectations for me.

He was so poor looking through camp that i thought he had to be the guy to be sent to Stockton.

He has totally showed otherwise and proven me 100% wrong thus far.

Good for him.

I really like Willie Desjardins. Hopefully he turns the Kings around and gets them into the playoffs. Mostly because the Flames would beat them, and the Oilers/Nucks would probably be on the outside looking in.

I gave up on Bennett last year, but man he’s a beast every night now. Goddamnit I want him to string a couple goals together and see where it goes from there.

Lmao, what do they want exactly? Everyone will play everyone. They get to have all the same matchups the flames have had at some point.

Then again they just played the Panthers and did a faceplant, so who's to blame for that? Not the flames lol.

Flames have looked like a winning team consistently since the game that shall not be named. Very happy to see.
The bottom six was great, Hathaway standing out. Frolik quietly being reliable as ever. Our d is looking really really good. Etc etc etc etc.

I agree, but we I'm still not sold on him as a number 1. Not that he can't be, but there's a million stories like Andrew Hammond's. Lots of mediocre goalies can get hot and lots of great goalies can slump.

What I'm saying is, NEVER TRUST A GOALIE

I’d be surprised if he doesn’t start tomorrow.

He looks quicker than Smith and keeps it simple. When Rittich made the same pad save Smith got scored on, his body was moving in the same direction he was kicking the puck. Smith kicked the puck to his right but because he didn't move in that direction he left a wide open net. Rittich seems to be dialed in right now.
