Excellent period by the good guys, with the Ducks giving up all kinds of grade A chances. Keep playing like that, and we'll tie this up in no time.
Smith was better that period, but he still scares me with all his flopping around.

Why is Burke not allowed to wear his tie loose?

CGY needs to keep up the great work. ANA very dangerous so be clean in their end and just be a little more hungry on offence. Get the rebound

This should be it.
We have to stop winning in spite of goaltending, because that won’t last forever.
This game should be 1-0 Flames.

Went from 280 “how shatty is Smith” posts in the first period to 58 in the second.
So there’s that.

Down by one heading into the best period. Can they do it again? Yes. Should they be doing it again? Well, no. But hey! It's fun as heck this way!

Getzlaf scares the hell out of me every time hes on the ice. You have no idea what kind of play hes gonna make every shift.

Optics were bad, Burke? He hunted him down, threw an illegal check, then sucker punched him 2-3 times.

I missed the first. This is our "game plan" this season. Smith let's in a couple softies, we come back and win it in the third. It would be nice if he didn't let in those softies. We are living on the edge and one of these nights it's gonna be one softie to many. Not tonight though, Go Flames

If we can't tie this up, that Backlund missed net is gunna sting. That was brutal.

Man I hate this Ducks team, but it still pales in comparison to the Oil.

There have been at least 8 great chances. Lindholm breakaway, Monahan just caught Miller's shoulder, Gaudreau's post, Backlund's miss, Czarnik's bad bounce, Jankowski point blank, Neal had a couple good looks.
