Yup. My first thought was I’d love to see that whiny bitch McDiva jump into a scrum that had a first line d-bag like Kessler or Domi in it. I’m sure neither one of them would pass up a chance to tousle his hair a bit.

Lucic has 4 pts and is -6.
Can we decline the suspension and leave him to play?

This just looks so awkward now. The game has changed a lot since the Anaheim or Nashville line brawls. Crazy how much the game has changed.
What is the point of McD skating in there? Is he going to throw a punch? Can he take one? What is the point of Lucic? Is he going to ragdoll a guy half his size...just awkward.

He also had 2 points in the first game of the season scoring the oilers first goal of season. It’s been some bad since then. Pretty sure matheson wrote something about how he is back to the old lucic after that game too. Called him dominating

Odd it wouldn't let me quote your post.
Thanks for the use of "some", I haven't heard that used since I lived down East.
Also you pointing out how much of a train wreck he has been.
In short your post is some good.

Yes McLellan, Looch does a great job of protecting his teammates. Except when he's suspended. Or playing against someone who can skate circles around him, which is probably 90% of the NHL.
But hey, he can always attack them when they're not looking, and start punching them when they're on the ground. Then his team has to play shorthanded, and he probably gets suspended again too.

Oh my good lord.
I am listening to Propaganda Minister Bob Stauffer on "Oilers Now" and the whole segment is a combination of incessant whining about officiating—"maybe the officials are not fast enough to see all the infractions committed against McDavid"—and some especially nauseating apologetics for Lucic's late-game goonery.
This is disgusting, but also hilariously bad.

I feel bad for Lucic if his career is now at Bertuzzi 2.0 level. That is a far and sad fall.

Why feel bad for him?
He’s his own cause of his fall. Plus he’s a 6 x 6 multimillionaire with a cup.
Zero sympathy whatsoever

even post-Canucks Bertuzzi still had several seasons of 40 or more points in him. that Franken-quasimodo up north is trending towards point totals of 30 and falling...somehow while still sharing PP time with McMuffin.

Laughing at all the Edmonton media gushing back in September about how Lucic had such a great off season, got into amazing condition and was poised for a huge turn-around season.

Wow. They are not even trying to be subtle about it.
Stauffer finished the noon-hour by mentioning that phones would be open and he would be reading listeners's texts. Then he very creepily singled out "the haters" and noted that the station saves everyone's texts, so they have a posting history on their submissions.

“Physically six pounds lighter… The speed and agility testing we have four tests – I would probably say from last year to this year between 45 and 60 percent improvement. Significant improvement. You know those pro agility tests, those shuttle runs – significant improvement. You can see it on the ice.”
|
I can't imagine him 45 to 60 slower then what he in that clip.

All true. Joseph had zero clue what was going on. He thought there was just some sort of interference and was looking to the ref, and the Lucic decides to go for the pin.

Shave off 6 lbs in a car and that's the equivalent off adding 1 horsepower.
