Hadn't touched the stuff in over 25 years, and even then it wasn't my bag.

But what the hey, it's now legal and I can get a prescription now.

So I tried it. I ordered online.

An ex-cigarrette smoker (coming up on ten years), I approached it with some trepidation. Don't want the weed to be the gateway drug back to tobacco.

I'm meh.

Bureaucracy/government blows my mind sometimes.

Although you can buy and smoke pot in Quebec, you can’t buy a shirt with a picture of it. Provincial inspectors have told shop owners that selling items that appear to promote cannabis could result in fines of up to $62,500

It's been and will continue to be a very interesting process. You have a substance that should be legislated somewhat but not totally like tobacco, and somewhat but not totally like liquor.

You can't advertise smoking, and you can't consume booze in public. I get the rules and regulations, but it's just been fascinating to see how they deal with this hybrid substance and the standards around it.

You can't advertise smoking. You can (generally) smoke in public.

You can advertise liquor. You can't drink in public.

It's just ... odd.

Can cannabis reduce hypertension? Particularly chronic hypertension associated with stress?

Bottom line: much more research needed with respect to cannabis and cardiovascular effects.

My heart can race for 10 minutes after getting super baked, that could be a nasty thing to add on top of hypertension. There might be something to smoking small amounts that will reduce short term stress and have a positive impact in the long run, but you'd be going rogue at that point. It's a personal call if that would be a worthwhile experiment.

e: I also like to get ripped and sweat buckets in hot yoga, so I may not be the best person to take advice from.

Honestly, clothes with weed leaves on them should be illegal for bad style anyways.

I'm an avid smoker, but I don't see why anyone would walk around with a hat with a pot leaf on it.

Purolator is always the way to go. A bit pricey, but for faster and more reliable service, I'm a fan. Canada Post wasn't bad until the strikes started, that said.

While I was walking my dog today, I met a guy Confederate flag hat. It said "Rebel since 1865". He was walking two shih tzus on neon pink and lime green Flexi leashes, respectfully. My dog walked right up to him, plunked her ass down and got her head scratched while he talked baby talk to her for a good thirty seconds. #### that ####### with his own hat.

What you put on your head goes says a lot about your level of cool.

You would best be served to have physician guidance on this (I highly recommend Spring Medical springmed.ca) but CBD might offer help
