If fans trust the goalie, they can live with them getting scored on. When he's been lit up in all but two games this year, he doesn't get any benefit of the doubt.

Another play that dies on Ryan's stick. Man, I would much rather have Stajan back. At least he was solid defensively.

a) Ryan literally has the second-best defensive results of any forward on this team while playing the hardest minutes how many times does this have to be said

b) That was hardly his fault, it was a good defensive play with a skate

I get we need a scapegoat but this weird piling-on gets difficult to read when it's made every shift

Needed a play from Ryan there. Looked like a dangerous rush.

Flames have had the edge so far in the second. Keep it up, pass more crisply, bear down on the chances, they will be fine.

I get we need someone to pick on but as much as Ryan hasn't impressed me in the o-zone if we're sitting a forward for Czarnik, its gotta be Jankowski

Maybe it's just a bias, but I feel the player has done almost nothing. People pile on Brodie, but I find every time I watch Ryan he loses the puck shortly after.

Yeah, sometimes you gotta make the simple play, like putting the puck on net. There was a Flame headed to the crease.
