Pretty exciting game with two teams I don’t really care for. Since I had to listen to the Avs feed, it was kind of nice hearing those guys be so disappointed.

Pettersson is amazing. It’s very sad to say, but I don’t think the Flames have a forward as good as he is or at least with the upside he has. I hate that the Oilers have McDavid and the Canucks have Pettersson.

As a Flames fan I hate to say this but Petterson is crazy good.
The hands and offensive hockey sense he has are elite. To have the creativity and confidence to execute that bank pass to Boeser as a 19 year old rookie is unreal.
9 goals and 15 points in his first 9 games now. Kid is going to be a thorn in our side for years to come.

Colorado could have had Pettersson but instead took Cale Makar in the 2017 draft. Early days but Pettersson could turn out to be no. 1 pick in any re-draft.
Kid is an amazing player.

Pettersson is an incredible talent but he's already gone down with injury in the first few games of his career. For his sake he better be able to put on more weight otherwise this is going to happen again.
He's not as shifty as Johnny, he's going to take hits.
