Gambling community likely not happy though, as the line was at 8.5.

Was as high as 10 at one point during the week.

Always way to high IMO.

I took the points on a couple PS cards that are still alive...could be a really good weekend in that regard.

Good thing for MNF they get the game of the year on paper, because the next month of MNF is horrifying otherwise:
 NE@BUF
 TEN@DAL
 NYG@SF (seriously cancel this game)
 TEN@HOU

Not sure how Tennessee managed to get two Monday Night games. But yeah that is ugly.

Hue has finally been fired, although this makes no sense now. Yeah he sucks, but that's the point. Season is lost, might as well chase the highest draft pick possible. Now they might win a couple more games.

Looks like the clock has struck for Hue.
 He's been fired in Cleveland.

How they even let him start the season....I have no idea.

I think the players love Hue, but they should have a better record than they do.https://www.cleveland.com/browns/ind...cart_big-photo

		| The Browns have not yet announced who the interim coach is.
According to a source, Jackson was told by ownership that the team had quit on him and that he wasn't doing a good job of leading. They told him that his offense and defense had regressed.

Jackson planned to meet with ownership on Monday in hopes of taking back the offense, which has struggled all season, and possibly getting the Haslams to agree to firing Haley.

Instead, it was Jackson who was let go.

Despite four overtime games this season, ownernship felt the Browns were getting worse instead of better. They also believed that Baker Mayfield wasn't being developed the way he needed to be.

The writing was on the wall last week that Jackson could be the one to lose the power struggled with Haley when Mayfield backed Haley, saying "we don't need to reinvent the wheel'' and "we don't need to change much.''

What a strange organization. They kept a guy that went 1-31 in his first two seasons under some strange assumption that he was still part of the solution and things would change in year three. As for Haley another strange one in that he was hand picked by GM John Dorsey and some in the media felt was being groomed to be Jackson's successor. No surprise a strong willed guy liked Haley wouldn't be receptive to Hue meddling in the offense so no surprise the two weren't getting along but to fire both of them in the middle of the season whey you are trying to groom a franchise QB seems kind of dumb.

didn't realize Haley was picked by Dorsey, yeah that makes no sense. Still a mess of a team, hope they don't bring in some old retread. Maybe they can bring in Jeff Fischer, that strikes me as a Browns move

Not a single team has interviewed him over two offseasons since being fired by the Rams. I think how McVay turning the Rams around 180 with largely the same personnel last season was kind of an indictment that the league has passed him by. There was a list of QB's performances with Fisher and without and it's pretty eye opening and he would be an incredibly tough sell for any fanbase as it would be akin to an NHL team hiring Mike Milbury. Would be tough to be selling season tickets for an incoming clown show like that.

To be fair to the Browns, they would kill for the kind of 7-9, 8-8 consistency Jeff Fisher produces. I imagine though they back the Brinks truck up to Lincoln Riley's house.
