Sounds like another Malace at the Palace.
I haven't seen the highlights yet but it sounds ugly.
Denver Nuggets vs. New York Knicks
10 players ejected for fighting, including Carmelo Anthony

Yeah, looked brutal. Not surprising coming from a team like NY -- I'd expect better from Denver, though. There's lots of blame to go around -- Denver running up the score, that nasty hard foul, but ultimately somebody has to be the bigger team and not retaliate.

This is the main reason I don't watch the NBA anymore. The players are impossible to associate with. It's like multi million dollar street ball. They cry like little babies when they are asked to dress like professionals to their professional basketball games. The league changes to streetballs (then quickly reverts back to leather balls) and in any given year there are about 4 contenders ... not very exciting.

That's not a brawl. Two punches thrown?
NBA players wouldn't last 5 seconds with a hockey player.

Carmello is an embarrassement. He throws a punch then starts running. This, after he was in the 'no snitch' video last year.

Isaih Thomas warned Carmelo Anthony(because he likes him) 2 minutes before the brawl to not go into the paint if you're still in the game until the end becauase someone is going to get fouled hard..Carmelo told the press..
Isaiah was ****ed that the Nuggets still had all there starters in there with only a minute left with a 20 point lead in front of the home crowd
Carmelo is a snitch as well as a running man. Isaiah is just dirty

Huge penalties.
$500,000 per team, Anthony gone for 15 games, a total of 47 games in suspensions.

Not only does he get 15 games, but Anthony stands to lose $640k in salary. That is one heckuva punishment.
Shame the NHL doesnt have the stones do lay down the law like that.

This really irks me. I've paid good money to see the Lakers/Nuggets Jan.5th in LA. Was really looking forward to the 'Melo/Kobe matchup. So much for that.

Better than the actual brawl itself was George Karl going off on Isiah Thomas. Man he ripped him a new one.
That said, Thomas had it coming. It's sad how much a joke the Knicks have become under his reign.

I loved the NBA in the late 80's early 90's. But I don't think I have watched an entire game since 94. If there was more incidents like this. I would tune in nightly.
