I'm not able to watch and am only following the thread - I don't even know the score.
But for a guy as competitive as Smith, if the game is as bad as you say, this is going to eat away at the core of his being.
I like Smith's competitiveness. I wish more guys had it. But he is going to have to earn back the crease.
