Are you sure? Lots of people will be posting about Bennett.
This might get expensive.

We always seem to play top teams well. I'm hoping the group in general feels bad about their showing in Montreal.
Predicting: Czarnik comes in hungry to prove something and gets a pair of points, Neal gets a goal and maybe a fight, Smith plays in God mode cuz he doesn't want to lose his job, Backlund gets an empty netter.
4-1 Good guys.

Have not been a fan of Ryan so far..
I didn't like signing from the get go but was willing to wait and see because I wasn't sure if I didn't like it because I didn't really know anything about Ryan or because I knew he was mediocre and had seen a lot of telling comments from Canes fans about him..
Granted it is still early but I'm beginning to think the Canes fans weren't wrong.
I guess at least the guy is good at FOs.

Also wanted to say that I like the PP changes. Specifically getting Neal on the first unit to get set ups from Johnny. And Bennett on any unit at all! I really see Tkachuk as an almost Gaudreau level passer, and I feel like having him and Johnny on the ice at the same time is a bit of a waste.
I'll amend my prediction to say 4-1 with 3 PP goals, and an EN.
One in each period, slow and steady...

I am too but forwards are generally better at scoring than defenseman, and we suck at scoring on the power play consistantly.

You'd be bankrupt if you're talking about every Bennett post on CP tonight.
The GT alone will break you in 10 pages.

I predict that Andersson will excel playing with Giordano. What an opportunity for the kid.

If he goes a long stretch without Giordano and has those numbers die he'll still be an NHL defenseman, but at least some will have a case that Giordano propped him up.

It has gotten silly.
Even that one game that the opposition scored 2 in the first 3 min, therecwas a weird bounce off the stanchion and then it got put out where the Center wasn’t. The second one was a bounce that was fluky and could happen to anyone.
Another recent game he had a pass that was a bit careless and the guy had a good stick, but Rittich stopped it and it didn’t cost the team.
It makes wading into game threads not really worthwhile, often other threads too.

Not a fan of scratching Valimaki but I am a fan of scratching Ryan. He’s been underwhelming so far. Yeah he can win face offs, but that’s only part of his job.

Never would I have thought that Andersson who started the year in the AHL that got called up because of an injury would be promoted to the top pairing once that injured player came back.
Pretty impressive for the 21 year old.

But Brodie is the new CP whipping boy now that Bennett has seemingly worked his way out of that posiiton for now.
Current whipping boy rankings:
1. Brodie
2. Neal
3. Smith
4. Ryan
which means every thread has to become about brodie.
