Gtfo tkachuk doesn't fake much, he draws penalties by frustrating the #### out of the opposition. Has been hooked and held multiple times tonight too

Outfought in every department.
One of those games where it looks like we don’t look capable of stringing 2 passes together.
Such a stupid penalty by Brodie. The momentum was firmly with them but that penalty shifted the goals to them too.

Montreal has been all over Calgary, they should be embarrassed.
Other than Tkachuk, nobody has looked even close to decent.

Man, wth is wrong with this team. Are they enjoying the legal weed, eating pizza while they play video games till 3 am in the Hotel? This is pathetic!

I believe in the Jays.

I'm impressed with how many people have said they are going to stop watching. Young, fast team with a new coach has a couple bad periods and half the fans quit on them.

Special teams are not a strength for this team, again. That’s just really frustrating.

Terrible effort tonight. The Flames are getting worked, and beaten to every puck. This kind of effort screams of each and every year being a Flames fan. Not damn good enough!!

I think you gotta juggle those D pairings in the third. All three were struggling to get the puck out. Especially Rasmus and Hanifin

It's a real shame that Neal didn't score on that chance. That opportunity is exactly why they brought him on board. Frustrating to watch him struggle like this.
|
Yeah. Neal needs to start producing, otherwise he's gonna be Brouwer 2.0.

Well, this game is ####ing bull####. An absolutely embarrassing effort by most of the Flames tonight. They owe Rittich an apology for this crap.
Specifically, Hanifin has had a horrible, horrible game. It's been so bad that I would seriously consider benching him and letting Prout get a game. Just awful effort and awareness everywhere tonight. He's been ok defensively this year, but this game is inexcusable.
Brodie is in danger of a benching too. Better game play in this one, but that stupid selfish penalty should earn him a night off. Unfathomably dumb.
It's nice to see some push back at times, but the Flames are getting embarrassed and they deserve to lose this one. I hope they do because this effort in back to back games is a disturbing trend. No energy, no speed, no cohesion in the play.
This is very, very disappointing.

Bennett and Rittich have also looked pretty good.

I can’t stand the NDP, but this goddamn commercial from the UCP every 10 minutes I think is having the exact opposite effect on me than they want.

That period was excellent motivation for me to finish writing the paper I've been putting off!
Hopefully Peters knocks some heads together in the intermission, and the boys come out flying. There's no real reason to be sluggish; no game last night, and they only traveled a short distance to get there.

This isn't Brodie's fault. This isn't anyone's fault. This is the entire team's fault for coming onto the ice like wilting pansies. Feel terrible for Rittich but no one else. The Flames deserve everything they get. Hope the coach peels everything off the walls. Problem is, Price has slept through the first two periods. I have no doubt he wil be able to save any pathetic effort the Flames come up with.

Yeah, I agree with this as well. It started early with that Gallagher trip/sloughfoot on Lindholm. Lindy hasn't looked right all game after that either.
Lots of holds, hooks, sticks in hands, and trips. Very shocked to see so much stuff let go.
