Steroids. Obviously joking but I did think he also looked more defined than last year. Guess that crappy diet is working for him.

God I can't wait till that moron is HC of the Oilers.

flames full marks for the win. avs very fortunate to get a point for playing 10 minutes. the new d pairings look great. andersson and hanifin read off each other well. hanifin's mobility complements andersson's poise.

huge props to rittich for continuing to battle when the aves were besieging the flames. one cross-crease save right before a penalty stood out. the pk battled hard too.

love that bennett got rewarded and mixed it up. he's been very consistently dangerous this season. wish the points came easier, but i love the fighting spirit the team has shown

I think Bennett and Neal really played well off of each other. Both have a mean streak, and they dragged each other into this one. This was the first game that Neal played the way I was hoping he would

Turning point was the well called timeout.

Feels good having a NHL level coach again

Hesitant to get my hopes up too much after last season, but there are some promising signs of an improved character with the team this year. Fingers crossed they keep trending this direction.

Rittich was solid after the two goals, but not worked enough to be one of the stars. The play was in the other end almost full time.

Brody had a great game, Gaudreau was wheeling pretty well, Backlund had his best game of the year.

Also despite no points, I thought James Neal was extremely useful tonight.

Lots of grit and smart plays. He seems to be getting his legs back finally.

3rd dominant effort when trailing by 2+ goals so far through 5 games.

I love that Peters isn't afraid to mix the lines, and that because of our depth every combo looks dangerous. Our 4th line was great I thought.
