Some good ideas so far though. Thanks guys

Well, if you want to go serious and if you think everyone will, then buy a book or something, u can still get a pretty good paperback for that price. You can also get a wee small bag of Callebault chocolates.
The silly $10 gift idea can be fun, I have gone to them, and they are done with the gift trading concept. You can trade for any one gift 3 times, then you you have to keep what you get.
Another idea that is always fun, and is a great way to get rid of those worst xmas presents you ever receieved is "the tackiest gift" exchange. You can not buy something new. The idea is to go thru your junk and wrap it up for exchange. Only thing here is, make sure you dont wrap up last years tacky present to give this year. Too many people will still remember from last year. So give it a 5 year recycle date. And dont give the worst present you ever received back to the person you received it from, that is just a bit too tacky

)) You can also do these parties on themes, like perhaps the tackiest present from the 90's era.
