What's it going to cost us to acquire Fillip Forsberg ? Could use his experience in net.

They never gave up after the score was 5-1, had a pile of chances, and Bennett looked better than I’ve seen in 2 years.

I’m okay with a loss like this.

Flames had their chances to perhaps change the look of the game, but no dice. Just wasn't their game. Glad they showed some resiliency and didn't just fold after they got down.

Play better from the get go and win on Saturday.

Not going to win many games with goaltending like this. I think the team is already in the situation where they need to just go with the goaltender with the hot hand and forget about a pecking order as I think Smith is no longer consistent enough to be counted on as a starting goaltender. If neither of these guys can put anything together Treliving is going to have to pull the trigger on a trade as Smith is going to sink this team playing 3 stinkers out of every 4 games.

This game wasn't all on Smith though as Gaudreau had a stinker and there were more than a few players that didn't have great games. Frolik playing his way into the press box.

I haven't seen the team look this dangerous down a couple goals in the third since Bob Hartley.

Probably the same thing we've done since Kipper. Nothing. Haha

I've had this feeling since the Summer that the Flames will trade for Carey Price sometime this year.

Rittich looking good for Saturday, and liked quite a bit of what we saw tonight.

At what point do they address the goalie issue? Now? Or wait until the season is lost?

Good effort in the third! I liked the poise the team showed trying to get the comeback, even as the Blues shut it down pretty good. Bennett is gonna get rewarded for his frantic work, hopefully very soon. Also Rittich made some good saves. I feel I've seen enough of Mike Smith for a little while. He'll probably find a groove at some point, but he's really all over the place right now.

Out-goaltended and some bad luck thrown in. A pretty even game in most respects. Blues were hungry for their first win of the year, and took it to the Flames early.

It's hard to be mad at a road loss like this, but I expect this to be a learning experience for the team. You can't come out passive like they did and expect to win.

Team is being dragged down by goaltending. Again. This could be Treliving's downfall. He's had more than enough time to fix it.

Well as long as we're not overreacting or anything...

Love the set up with goalie pulled. This has potential for BoBelieve moments like 2014.

Never quit Flames 2.0?

Rittich looks better. Sets up well for Saturday night.
