I live in the Beltline, and have received 4 or 5 letters stating an appeal has been filed on potential locations by me.
It's ridiculous.

They need to open one in Lincoln Park Centre, just so I can see the people in the community Facebook group explode.

Looking at MOM pricing online, it's anywhere from $160-$240 for an oz, depending on what you're purchasing

It still doesn't really address regular folks who have used it in the past and having to either lie or be deemed inadmissable.

I still wouldn't admit to smoking it. That's asking to be denied.

Having dealt with probably over a dozen sellers, these numbers are far lower than an average person will find from an average dealer.
The earlier quoted numbers of $120/half $240/ounce are the correct 'street' averages that most people will find.

They said people in the pot industry can get in for personal trips...why would regular folks on personal trips have to meet a higher bar?
Maybe if you are in the pot industry and going on a business trip you may have problems?

He is referring to admitting to smoking. They can deny you if you admit that.

Ya, at those prices you're getting bunk stuff, or all shake. If you're actually getting good stuff at those prices then you're one of those lucky guys who has a good friend who is buying large bulk and willing to part with it for cheap asa personal favour to you.
But you're not going to get an oz for $140 from some random street dealer unless it's garbage.

hmmmmm how do I go into greater detail explaining how you guys are all getting ripped off without implicating a few of the Terry's I know......
The only way people I know pay $140/oz is if they're in dire straits on Hastings, or if it's AAA grade. $240/oz and you're buying premium, AAAA grade boutique weed some micro producer in Nelson makes in VERY small quantities that is the best MJ you're ever smoked.
Not that it matters much though. Everyone I know is going to pre-loaded vape pens which is even MORE bang for your buck, and way more potent (as well as discreet). That's the future as far as I'm concerned.

I'm curious what weed beer might be like. I like beer, I like weed. Very intriguing.

I don't drink but they say pot and alcohol potentiate one another, and since you drank the thc it gets processed by the liver into a more potent form. This weed beer could be a very good way to get too wasted pretty easily.

I guess I'm mainly curious in how it impacts the old adage of:
'Hoots before beer, you're in the clear
Beer before hoots, you'll puke on your boots!'
Because for me, that is absolutely true!
I can see it leading to getting way too wasted, way too fast though for sure lol good times ahead!
