I know what it means, but here you go:

verb (used with object)
to make slow; delay the development or progress of (an action, process, etc.); hinder or impede.
verb (used without object)
to be delayed.

Lmao I guarantee they're 14-16th.

Dissentowner appears to be acting a bit foolish

How convenient to leave out the other definition.

Checkmate. Can we move on now?

Like that hat brim. The hat is being worn before it is shaped, the brim is behind schedule.

I did do it right.

Obviously a really great game by the Flames.

This team is starting to expose just how bad GG was because the players coming in, while better, aren’t THAT much better are they? Yet you look at the biggest difference, in my mind being team speed. And maybe they are. But Peters system is also quicker. I’m not sure yet if it’s the new players or coach but it’s definitely more interesting to watch.

Really?
Did you miss the description "dated, offensive" above your definition?

As a personal insult, obviously. That does not apply to the other definition. No just stop, you are proven wrong. Let's talk hockey instead k?

Smith with many sneaky good saves which would change the narrative around here if those very good chances found their way in.
But solid game by all out there. Including Peluso.
Stone played excellent as well, to the dismay of many here as well.

Yeah, least year I downplayed the "lack of preparation " thing, but this game was totally different. Of course, they looked pretty unprepared in game one. It's funny, that game was like last year, the next game was like a Hartley comeback and this one was just solid. I hope this is the "real" Peters team.

I know Gaskal hasn't done his report yet but I couldn't resist looking at the greasers forum for some schadenfreude.

I liked the 4th line a lot in their limited viewings. Did exactly what you need that line to do.

I think we've found a winning roster combination. Until a weak link develops that Jankowski can supplant.

I think this is missing the point.

I don’t believe having a fighter in our lineup changes the way that the opposition plays, but I DO believe that it changes the way our team plays, and that’s what it’s about. If having Peluso in the lineup provides some level of comfort/confidence to our more important players, then it’s a wise roster move when required.

Umm, it was a sub heading under the same number and description. The description applied to both 1 and 1.1.
