Great road win. Textbook.

Brodie defends so much better on the right side. Last year he was constantly getting walked to the outside.

Yes. Some words that can be used inappropriately also have appropriate meanings. Or are you one of these people who are offended by everything?? If he had said the call was foolish would you be offended? It is the exact same thing.

That can't be aimed at me since I never complained about him slotting in at all. I just don't agree with the psychological analysis. He played a good game all right. It will be interesting to see if Jankowski can get back in.

Yup.
Which is why I didn't hesitate to use that terminology.

Its amazing that an NHL coach couldn't figure this out

Anyone viewing Peluso as the reason the Flames won tonight is guilty of confirmation bias. He wasn't terrible out there, but the reasons the Flames won were as follows:

A lethal power play
A red hot Mike Smith
Very strong commitment to team defense, especially eliminating second shot attempts
Team speed
Work ethic and playing hard for the entire 60 minutes
Everyone playing to their role

Peluso had by far the lowest ice time of anyone on the team. If you really think that the player with 5:16 in ice time, with no points, shots on goal, hits, PIMs, or any other measurable impact on the game was the REASON the Flames won tonight? I don't know how to have a rational conversation with you.

Peluso had a nice couple of shifts. I remember a shift in particular during the 2nd period. The Preds had run off 10 consecutive shots and the ice was starting to tilt in their favor. The 4th line with Peluso hemmed then in their own zone with a cycle that resulted in a scoring chance. It was an important point in the game and that line absolutely delivered.

Great game... the Flames played how other teams usually play the Flames... nice to be on the other end for once in a long time.

Always nice when Nashville loses. The fact that it was the flames they lost to is just a bonus.
Predators = no good.

We just shutout the reigning Presidents Trophy winners on the road, and people are arguing over our 13th forward. Never change CP

Are you addressing this directly to Eric Francis?

Ya I thought he played pretty good, better than I thought he would be.
