Treliving looks like a genius so far with the Lindholm Hanifin trade.

I’ve always thought you need to touch the puck.

What went wrong on that dumb play was the refs getting whistle happy.

No. But they thought the Nashville player then knocked the puck off Monahan's stick and blew it dead. It happens fairly often - it just so happened that a goal was scored.

Too bad for Bennett. I suppose the Preds (especially Rinne) would argue they heard the whistle and quit the play as well.

Sean Monahan 2018-2019 Tap In Count: 3

Great IQ to get to the right spot after a strong zone entry by him

Rasmus needed a GPS for a 5 minute stretch or so of that period. Was looking really really lost for a bit. Luckily he recovered.

Monahan scores 40 this year. I'd almost go full pube bet on that one.

I saw that. It was concerning in the moment, but something that's fixed with experience.

He's over stimulated with his callup. He'll settle in.

Agree. Game seems to be coming at him awfully fast.

Smith the difference tonight. Can’t give up 20 shots this period.

I see this period as an opportunity to laugh off all of that preseason goaltending worries.

Why do they have to ruin a perfectly good broadcast with Eric Francis? Why?

Almost forgot about all those guys on here who said Lindholm wouldn't score as much as Ferland

Guys a beast and will have a record season if he keeps this up with the big line. Johnny's going to feed him 30 himself if this continues.
