I think lots of times if there's a second minor penalty they kind of ignore it. But in this case they were too obvious in making two separate calls (by two refs) so they couldn't avoid it.

Great kill! The Lindholm call was pretty weak and smelt of trying to get the home team back in the game. Of course then Stone make an obvious trip seconds later.
