Bills defense is elite. At least against the Vikings and the Titans.
So glad I picked the Bills as my team. I seriously think they can make the playoffs this year. I love watching them cause you never know what you are going to get.
Their running game was impressive today. McCoy has the sick moves and Ivory is a goddamn bull out there. You can't stop him once he gets going.

Second game in a row where they benefited from another coaches questionable decision in OT. Surprised didn’t go for it on 4th from Texans territory.
Hopefully Texans can start putting an occasional team away.

Bill O'Brien vs. Jason Garrett was truly one of the most elite battles of coaching ineptitude we've ever seen, but in the end the more experienced Garrett found a way to be a slightly poorer coach than O'Brien in overtime. May they never face in each other in a Super Bowl.

The botched field goal by the Bills was brutal as well.
I would.love to know what happened there. He thought it was a fake but no one else on the entire Bills roster played it like a fake was coming. How do you screw up that bad?

Drew Brees holds so many records. It's hard to believe that playing in the era he has, with the quarterbacks he has, that he is somehow under rated.

Yeah Brees just quietly gets it done every year. To think the Chargers just let him walk for nothing. Idiots!
He is the best free agent signing in NFL history in my books.

Drew Brees is all class. The league could not have a better guy at the top of the most prestigious statistical list in football

Agreed.
He oozes class and has always gone about his business the right way.
So many good qb's through the years and he is among the best of the best.

That picture that Manning had from 2000 with him and Brees was awesome. As Manning said in the video...the TD record likely goes here too pretty soon.

Currently out of the country on vacation, finally managed to watch the game. What an awesome way to break the record. Agreed on all accounts, Brees is a class act all the way. Haha and I loved that Peyton Manning video they played on the jumbotron after it, I miss that guy and his humour. Great game.
Also great to see Ingram have a good return, that's the first time the Saints have looked like themselves all year. Kamara has been a stud this season but the offence had looked unbalanced, tonight they finally looked back to last year's form. Breakout game for the rookie DE Davenport as well, and Tre'Quan Smith.
Worried about the concussion to Lattimore though, this bye week couldn't have come at a better time.

I don't think it's that he's been underrated and more that he's spent a great career playing on some very mediocre Saints teams with historically bad defenses. They had that bad play against the Vikings which I think cost them their last chance to won a Super Bowl with Brees. When you look at Brees and Brady you see two QB's that played their careers in the same offense under the same head coach and I think that's a big deal in an age where coaches are hired to be fired and most QB's are learning new offenses every few years. It's a shame a lot of Brees career was wasted with some horrifically bad defenses.

Brees is 3rd all time in attempts per game, and 20th in yards per attempt.

Regardless of team success, he was always in the background behind guys like Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Favre, (young) Rothliesberger, and there is more than a few seasons you can make a case he was the NFLs best while never really getting that recognition aside from maybe 2010/11. Fact is, aside from Brady, Drew Brees is probably the best quarterback during the time he has played.
And that's not mentioning the off field Drew Brees and the Drew Brees that put a putrid team and broken city on his back and did what he has done really is incredible.
I haven't missed a Saints game the past 4 years and even still when the discussion of best QB in the NFL is brought up I immediately go to Rodgers or Brady. If you were to put the Saints in the Patriots division there is no doubt in my mind they'd have just as many playoff appearances and quite a few more trips to at least championship games

I'm interested in the Eagles' pursuit for a new running back. Apparently not a lot of faith in their committee as they have reportedly reached out to David Johnson and Lesean McCoy

Not much of a committee right now, everyone’s injured. It’s less faith in them and more “Jesus can someone please be available to physically carry a football?”
