Quick update from the dome. Backlund looks horrible. Johnny turning it over way to much. Monahan not loookiny good. Frolik struggling. Bennett looks decent. Czarnik looks good again. Tkachuk looks good.
This game shouldn't be this close.

I don't have any answers for why this persists. I'd say it's a team confidence thing to have that little bit more killer instinct and finish off those plays.
We don't cash in as much as we should for the amount of chances generated. Meanwhile the opposition can sit back and wait for their chances.

That's is one of the issues I have with Johnny. Offensively he is dynamic. But it's plays like this which will always keep him from superstar status. Yes he is not as strong as a Martin St Louis but at least show some effort. As much as I am not a huge fan of McDavid, his puck pursuit is intense.
