I was one of the early supporters of Smith but he has looked absolutely terrible in the first 4 periods this season. He's out there fishing most of the time.

Not sure how Peters could see Ryan as anything beyond a fourth line energy type. If Ryan is the hill he chooses to die on, then so be it. He won't get another shot in the league, though.

To be fair, all of Pettersen's goals have been on wide open chances.
And that's mostly on the Flames, they're defending like ass and turning it over in bad places. The players are losing their guys constantly, I'm not impressed with the awareness.
Pettersen will not get these kind of chances from night to night.

There’s no bias at all in the broadcast. Randorf has always been an excitable PBP guy. If we did anything exciting he’d be getting all worked up too.
