Gio at the point. Johnny and Monahan down low working together. Neal on the right and try Stone on the left (his off wing). That gives us skills down low, a gun at the point and on each half wall.
I am not sure who else to put where. Maybe Tkachuk and Johnny down low and Monahan shooting from the half wall instead of Neil?
We will see, but I wouldn't mind seeing something like this some day.

The big difference I see is that both the Caps and the Pens actually move on the PP to find open lanes. Our guys just stand still, it is frustrating to watch.

Dougie scores to tie it with 1:35 left. Might have been tipped by Staal.
Ferland screening in front.

Ferland takes a tripping penalty in the dying seconds of the 3rd.
Surprising as he is so disciplined when it comes to stick penalties.

well hopefully our guys and start watching what the top of the league is doing and try it. It seems to work and is much less frustrating to watch than ours.

Isles win on the PP in OT. Barzal with a gorgeous pass to Bailey for the onetimer. Poor Ferly.
Canes colour commentator sounds heart broken.

The Caps' new coach looks like Kevin from The Office if he lost a bunch of weight.

The audio mix in the Vegas game is messed up. Virtually no in-arena sound at all.

Help, save, whatever.

Connor Carrick with 2 assists in his Dallas debut.
Yeah Babcock. Leafs don't need a RHD. Good job refusing to play him.
Hope he tears it up for the Stars.

The Blues are playing like the Flames tonight. Out chancing the Jets but doing nothing on the PP, making Hellebuyck look like a god, and completely collapsing after giving up a shorty.

Except the Flames did not out chance the Nucks last night.

Wat? yeah they did...by a large margin
and its not just Flames fans saying it...check any of the sites that track these things
High danger chances 19-10 for the Flames
Not saying they played a good game but they did have more chances

Read Bingo's Game Take:
Quote:
The Flames five on five had a 56-26 edge in five on five attempts (68%, with period splits of 56% 76% and 72%), as well as 68% of the scoring chances and 66% of the high danger chances. The Canucks made a lot of very little on the night.
In all circumstances the Flames had 69% of the shot attempts with a big edge in powerplay time, as well as 64% of the scoring chances and 61% of the high danger chance

I guess I find that stat to be pretty misleading, considering so many of the Flames chances came in that 10 min flurry in the 3rd while they were trailing by 2-3 goals.
The Nucks had more sustained pressure, and looked like the more dangerous team, for the games opening 45 mins.
