What's the Worst Christmas Song Ever?
With all of these more or less heady topics--Iran, stem cells, abortion--I have a hankering for something with maybe a little less substance. So I thought I'd ask--what's the worst Christmas song ever, in your opinion? There are some bad ones--but the worst one, in my opinion is "I'm the Happiest Christmas Tree."

I will cast my vote for "all of them". Sorry, I just hate Christmas carols for some reason.

I actually don't know either the Christmas Shoes song or the Happiest Christmas Tree one. As far as somewhat traditional ones, Little Drummer Boy is lame.
And I have a strong dislike of the anglicized version of the Huron Carol. To me there's this undertone of celebration of the subversion of native myth and storytelling traditions. Maybe I'm over-analyzing it.

I'm a Paul McCartney fan, but "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time" is exeptionally awful. The master tapes should be destroyed and their ashes shot into space.

That song is annoying, as are Christmas song remakes by Jessica Simpson, 98 degree's and N'Sync

Any washed-out celebrity that tries to revive their career by releasing a Christmas album. Any song on any such album could be nominated for worst Christmas song ever.

It's not really about Christmas but radio stations still insist on playing it every year at this time. It is so awful it makes me want to punch someone really hard in the face.
Luckily I like most Christmas songs, so I restrain from punching people in the face at Christmas time.

i am not a big fan of xmas in general and i think it is mainly because of the music.
i absolutely hate going shopping at this time of year because of the 'happy' music. i bet more then one murderer has been created because of it.

Yeah--my wife and I listened to the iTunes sample of her and Ashlee Simpson doing "The Little Drummer Boy." We were just about rolling on the floor. It was ALMOST "so bad it's good." But not quite--it was still in the realm of really, really bad.

I dont know if anyone will know what this is, but it came out five Christmas' ago, and its in the same genre as Jessica Simpson's and N Sync's Christmas songs, although I dont know who its by. Some pop Christmas song. All I remember is the chorus, and the guy keeps saying "We...are ha-a-aving...a WONderful Christmas tiiiime...". I worked at a clothing store then, embarassingly enough(f*** you I was in high school  ), and whenever I worked throughout November and December, which was alot, Im not joking when I say theyd play it twice an hour. Just all day, non-stop pop-style Christmas songs. And that one was the worst.

I would say any of those rap remixes of popular Christmas tunes. One of my favourite Christmas songs is Santa Baby, I heard a rap version of it that just about made me cry it was so bad.
