I disagree. I got to see a lot of him. There were games he was lights out, but those were few and far between. Most nights he was an average goaltender who gave up too many soft goals. Same guy you see in Calgary.

What? In my opinion, the Flames have played very well. I think they have had an excellent game.

Shots 24-10
Chances 12-9
HD Chances 7-4
Goals 2-1
Andersson, Valimaki, Mangiapane and Dube have all played great. I think they're all NHL ready. The newcomers - Ryan, Czarnik, Hanifin and Lindholm - have all been good to various extents.

I think the Flames have looked good. It will all come down to goaltending. I think the Flames still need to improve in this area and should be looking to make a deal.

Maybe have also just re aggravated that lower body injury he had earlier, might as well sit him in a game like this to make sure he's ready to go for game 1
