The more I think about it, the more I believe the best answer for this team over the long haul is to work Andersson into the lineup now and wait on Valimaki.

I won’t be that disappointed if Dube gets some AHL time too.

Everybody thinks he's older because he's already so incredibly awesome.

SO the Homer firing was directed at me? lol
I took it as a Hogstrom being Homer

Completed their reviews, and this round of cuts - 1 person

Well that makes total sense. lol

But my posts through this stretch also deserve a firing, so now it has a double-meaning.

Ha ha, no, just Hogstrom being the only one cut.

I don't have the rage that some do about these decisions because I see both ways as logical.

The best team on the ice now depth be damned makes some sense.
The run teams based on contract flexibility to keep options open makes some sense.

And that's why like some I see it likely that they do something in the middle, and that's have players with no pro experience start in Stockton, and make room if/when they start to dominate at that level.

So if that's the case I think Andersson and Mangiapane have a leg up, though Andersson is hurt by having to play his off side.

Guess it wouldn't surprise me to see Dube, Valimaki and Andersson all cut, leaving Kulak, Prout and Mangiapane to join two of Lazar / Hathaway / Peluso on the "October roster".

Changes to come later ...

Yup, hard to argue with any of that. Plus, the Flames tend to play things fairly conservatively, so I think what you're suggesting is what we'll see.

And the nice thing is that they are all good problems.

Frolik Ryan Czarnik
Bennett Jankowski Hathaway
Lazar Peluso

Hanifin Hamonic
Kulak Stone
