Oh that’s not how I saw that at all. I saw it as a normal coach/player conversation. It didn’t look negative to me at all.

Rittich has signed one way deal while Gillies is on 2 way this year. Preseason games are a non-factor between those two. If Rittich blows few of his starts at the beginning of the season, then maybe yes.

Andersson and Kylington aren't going to beat out Kulak this year.

The savings involved there is like 550K...the better goalie will be at the NHL level. That 1-way/2-way stuff won’t even be a factor.

The 550k won’t be... however waiver eligibility just might.

I think Andersson has already beat out Stone, Kulak, and Prout.

Kylington I didn’t really expect to see make it this year, but he’s shown better than both Stone and Kulak so far this pre-season (although all 3 have struggled tonight).

Curious as to how you can come to that conclusion because I think theres a sizable gap between Andersson and everyone else fighting for a job. Kylington IMO has been just a little bit better than Kulak. If kylington isnt good enough to win a spot, Kulak doesnt earn one either.

It's going to be a long season if the team's best player is feuding with the coach already.

Based on what I’ve seen so far this preseason, I really hope you’re right.

Who would claim Rittich? No real risk there. Even if he gets claimed...it just means more Parsons at the AHL level, and that’s a good thing.

Gaudreau 2 goals, Monahan 1 goal, 2 assists.
Each of them are +3 on the night.

Neal looking good too, but it hasn't show up on the scoreboard.
Has some blocked shots, and seems to be good at maintaining possession/offensive opportunities.

At the end of the day, I just hope that Johnny's/Monny's linemate doesn't let the puck die on his stick (a-la-Chiasson)

Is that what was happening at the end of the period?
