For those who didn't follow the team during the Young Guns era, an awful lot of games looked like the first period tonight. The only difference was that you knew the team wasn't capable of scoring more than 3 goals, so if you were down by 2 early, the game was usually over. The best part of those games were the nachos and Sandy McCarthy fights.

Bennett - Jankowski - Frolik has been by far our best line. I don't think that's a good thing because our top six guys have been invisible outside of a 4 on 3 PP

Those were the days where you could drive down to the Dome on game night and buy tickets pretty much anywhere in the building because nobody was watching the team. I remember nosebleeds were super cheap in those days too, like $15 or something.
