Yeah that PP goal was a beauty. I just wish we could see some more of that before the season starts. And on a north american sized rink.

Gotta say this really opens up the possibility to liberate Backlund from to many defensive zone starts. Also, I like the idea of having a bottom 6 line with as an offensive threat- Something like Mangiapane- Ryan- Czarnick. The added benefit would be that you would also be able to avoid fracturing lines to much for special teams.

Why does everyone want Lindholm on the top line I haven’t seen him do anything yet to deserve it automatically , right about now I’d rather have Neal, Dube , or Czarnik they all seem to be able to finish . I haven’t seen Lindholm do much unless I missed something crazy here

There's a few vets that haven't shown much yet........Gaudreau, Neal, Lindholm......Money has been kinda quiet. I wouldn't put too much stock into Lindholm's play, he's going to be a pretty solid player all year. I think he can play anywhere on the top 3 lines and get PP time as well. I don't think Dube is ahead of him at all on the depth chart, as good as he's looked in preseason. It might take a few games, but we'll be pretty happy with him pretty quickly.
