They're not going to replace a script jersey with another script jersey.

Split's mock up isn't too bad... replace the wordmark with the Flaming C and I would be pleased.

I very much agree. We've seen it so many times, it's time for us to just let this live in reality.

That's where my optimism lies as well

I remember thinking it was neat at first (reminded me of the all-star jerseys), but it always comes across as a 'tack-on' to me. They had a wicked design, they were going to make something for the fans with a new look they can have fun with... but then Kevin in marketing had a last-minute meltdown over not putting the primary marks on the jersey and added it to the shoulder in the final hour. Or, Adidas has a rule.

For me that Ducks jersey is much better without the gold Ducks logos on the shoulder; and that black 2004 jersey would have been better with the horse and 'C' swapped IMO.

It's a t-shirt. The NHL puts out many different t-shirt designs each year. This also likely means that they reject 3 or 4 times as many designs each year.

It is much more likely that the guy is wearing a prototype that either didn't go into wider production; or has gone into production but still isn't in stores; or was just sent to other licensees and isn't available to the public, than it is that this guy has some secret new jersey design and was just casually wearing it around the office the day a video shoot was going on.

I've been dying for a new jersey ever since a jersey shop in Vancouver ruined my Reebok home by screwing up the Monahan embroidering on the back (it's way too low - looks super fake - I can't stand wearing it). I'll buy this one immediately if they don't screw it up.

You've got big dreams. You want fame. Well, fame costs. And right here is where you start paying: in sweat.

Why can't we just use the old retro ones from the 80's? Every time this discussion comes up it's the retro ones that people want. They're popular and people want them. They really should just be a permanent fixture going forward in our kit.

It just makes sense for the Flames to have the same striping as fire trucks.
