i have to give props to Canadian Tire for finally realizing how irritating their "family" was and finally dumping them. now i don't feel like murdering someone when i see a CT ad, and actually some of them are quite clever

the worst is still that fat pizza eating construction worker. that commercial makes me think evil things

I just realized that he's wearing rubber boots to go with his hard hat in the middle of a field....I doubt those have a green ticket on them. Next Panago commercial should show that moron in the psych ward. That would be the natuarl progression in this unfortunate chain of events.

ok i retract my post about the fat construction worker being the worst commercial. the Pepsi commercial with Jimmy Falon and some chick doing a stupid dance down the street and on a cab is the worst piece of garbage on TV right now. to couple one of the worst "actors" out there with a commercial that makes absolutly no sense is a recipie for crap

i want to drown Falon in a vat of Coke everytime i see that stupid thing

The Fountain Tire guy is the one who annoys me. That Jimmy Fallon one is a close second, and I have had "I've got my love to keep me warm" jingling in my head for two days!

All these Canadaian marketing firms are horrible. I want to stab the hands in my pocket guy.

I remember watching the ABC or FSN feeds for games and those American commercials are 100% more entertaining and memorable.

I totally agree with the Telus, panago ads. Drive me nuts.
For me, the one that make me want to jab sharp objects in my ears have to be those dang mini wheats, vanilla flavor commercials. That cheerful song they sing on a cartoon beach could be used as a form of torture. To compound my seething hate for this ad, they have now put it on the radio as well so I can't get away from it.
On that note, the Speedy Glass repair radio ad is like chewing on tinfoil.

Hands down though, my favorite commercials have to be the Caveman Geico ads.

Love them!

The Flames will be selling their own ad space next year.

I am going to second this motion. Jimmy Falon has got to be one of the biggest cases of "why the hell are you still given any sort of attention?". He pretty much lacks any comedic timing, has zero ability to control his own laughter in sketch comedy and his constant looking into the camera is brutally annoying.

Except those ads for local car dealerships, furniture stores and casinos. They are almost always the bottom of the barrel variety of terrible.

Yeah, the local station ads do suck since Calgary's feeds are all from small town stations like the ones in Spokane.

I actually think the song in the Telus ad is kinda catchy.

Those panago ads are pretty bad. There was one a while ago where he said to the effect of "Einstein has nothing on the guy who invented this pizza." Panago must think it's customers are about as smart as the box the pizza comes in if one of the smartest people in science fails in comparison to some smuck who threw some ingredients on a pizza.

What about the subway ads? Those are doing a great job of keeping me out of a Subway. Those are destroying the illustrious career of John Lovitz.

It's be great if they could have a cross over between commercials...like...the panago guy ranting away at the flamingo, but somehow this enrages the bird and it attacks him mercilessly as the song "I got my love to keep me warm" plays at the background.

I once saw this commercial from a feed from a small town in BC, where the guy was offering a box of pork chops with the purchase of a new vehicle. To this day, I'm still not sure how I feel about that.

The blonde boy's a loser!

And that was pretty much the only one. Whatever, as long as Jared isn't on my screen I'm happy.

I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm (Stuhr Remix) by Kay Starr. It's on iTunes, on the Christmas Remixed - Holiday Classics Re-Grooved album.
