I did not read it that way. I read it that he/she was saying they like to hear more than just statistical analysis and like opinionated comments.

While doing the traffic report he kind of stopped and said something along the lines of; "Why am I doing the traffic report? Anyone can do this. I'm done with this.". I initially thought it was a skit but Boomer actually replayed it as a WTF moment and they said he left the building so I don't know if he was having a bad day or what but it's something you don't hear too often.

This morning when heard Peter on the radio I was pumped, then realized it was traffic.

Then I heard "I Will Neault Eat Green Eggs and Ham" and I swore.

I think Will is a nice guy, but terrible as a radio personality. Over 4 years ago I remember driving around in the summer listening to him and Pat blather on like amateur clowns, on just about everything.

I thought, what idiots before I realized... if they're idiots, what does that make me for listening to them?

WORSE. I turned them off and have never really regained respect for either and only listen for their guests.

Will is void of insight, and he can't even pronounce Sportsnet.

I lost any value for his work last year when he kept pulling out a baseless prediction of $9.7 million for McDavid's new contract. He sounded like a drunk Oiler fan with nothing factual or insightful to enlighten his opinion.

He responded to me on the text line after I sent in a message saying that based on how he felt Valimaki could crack the opening day roster, it virtually guaranteed to me that he wouldn't because his opinion is baseless and useless.

If they lost Peter they lost the talented one of the two. Will should go back to producing for SporesNet, and let someone else properly pronounce the name of the station.

For ease of reference, it is the 2 hour 9 minute mark. Unless you want to listen to them talk about apples at the 2 minute 9 second mark...

Who was that guy that was on 960 about 5 years ago that would never give an opinion without qualifying it six different ways? That guy turned me off of 960 pretty badly. Then with how crappy the Flames were the last while, I wasn't listening anyway. Since GG departed, I've been trying to listen again, but it's painful. They actually talk about apples, or socks, or something else stupid, every time I turn it on. Unless there's a big breaking story, I have no reason to listen to 960 at all.

They need a show worth listening to. I don't care about male or female, but that Leah Hextall idea is a good one. She actually had me watching intermissions, and not because she's pretty, because she was damn awesome at hosting that round table. Totally unafraid to say what the men were pussyfooting around.

That rings a bell. That guy drove me crazy. Well, he drove me to stop listening to 960 for a few years. I did read here when he moved on, but my radio habit had changed already. 960 lost a listener for a long time because of him.

I’d give them a pass until some meaningful hockey is being played. If they’re still spending most of the time talking about food and socks, it’s a problem, but up until now there’s not much to talk about. The Karlsson trade just can’t keep the dialogue going for 3 hours
