Flames have been the better team for pretty much all of the game apart from a 2 minute stretch.
Halak has been the difference.
I can’t believe how small Gillies looks in front of the net.

Yup. Outside of one bad stretch in the 1st, the Flames have carried the play, and have had the better scoring chances. Halak is the only reason it's still 3-1.

I know this is pre season and all, but this is where we see what the Flames are made of. All last season they could never battle back into games once they were down. Good teams find a way when the going gets tough
