Yes, the "voluntary" testing for the veterans who are going to China was scheduled for today. The prospects have theirs tomorrow.

I think it should be an interesting game because the Oilers have some high picks on their team. They will have:
-Yamamoto (1st),
-Bouchard (1st),
-McLeod (2nd),
-Rodrigue (2nd), and
-Benson (2nd).

Therefore, I think it will mean more when the Flames beat the Oilers, in a close one, 100-0 and destroy the Oilers' prospects' collective will to play hockey.

Aside from the above three, I am most excited to watch Mangiapane and Phillips, Gawdin and Parsons play.

College players and players playing in the European leagues are not allowed to attend training camp.

I personally don't think there is room for Klimchuk or Lomberg because they are only taking 5 lines:

Gaudreau - Monahan - Lindholm
Tkachuk - Backlund - Neal
Bennett - Ryan - Frolik
Lazar - Jankowski - Czarnik
(Rychel or Hathaway) - Quine - Robinson

But that is just my personal opinion, which is worth nothing, so it could be that they take Klimchuk or Lomberg instead of two of Rychel, Hathaway, Quine and Robinson instead.

I hope the Flames sign Merrick Rippon soon. He was ranked 99th by Future Considerations, 85th by McKeen's Hockey and the 85th NA skater by Central Scouting. So he could be like an additional 4th round pick. Of course, he was also ranked 194th by ISS Hockey and 184th by Hockeyprospect.com.

Yeah that's about all I'm looking forward to watching... maybe add Phillips.

But my kids are too young to know the difference or care and will have a blast so I'm still psyched to go to the dome Sunday!

I'm assuming the Corral will be open to the public today? Normally they specify as such when they release the schedule but there is no mention of it this year.
