Yeah, I guess. I meant it more that they are going retro to their original jersey design rather than one of their newer styles.

Never black. It evokes the abysmal Snot-Horse era.

It'll pollute the sheer awesomeness of the playoff (I know I know) C of Red.

Outside of another Winter Classic, I don't see a retro white either.

I'm not a fan of a primarily black jersey. I am reminded too much of the aesthetically horrible 90s when black was considered the best and it seemed like every 2nd team was either changing to black or adding a black 3rd. The black flaming C does look cool though I just wish it was on a jersey closer to the 2004 template.



Do we know what the holdup is on announcing the retro 3rd? Hopefully it happens at an upcoming press conference to introduce the new signings or announce the China roster.
