Thank you. I kept thinking Robert even though I knew it was wrong.
I however don't recall Warren. Off to hockeydb I go.

I like it. Obviously not a big deal but gives the Flames another option for call up depth if injuries strike hard.

As unlikely as it is, fingers crossed he at least comes into camp with a vengeance and takes Lazar's spot or something

Would actually like it if he and Lazar both have great camps.

Rychel-Jankowski-Lazar is a hell of a fast fourth line with both Lazar and Rychel who can play physical.

Warren was a below average goon.

Rychel's poor skating by all accounts is the reason he never made it.

I see him as a replacement for Hathaway if his physicality and energy fades. I think that this move really forces one of the prospects to stand out or it wait for a callup (which will happen). I would like Klimchuk, Dube and Mangiapane to get a year (or most of a year) in the AHL.

Foo is the interesting prospect to me. Does he compete with Czarnik for a spot or is he either not ready or not there?

The improved depth is noticeable. Now we aren't crossing our fingers if a secondary player goes down. For a few weeks I think a number of the prospects could manage to fit in the lineup to replace players such as Frolik, Bennett, Janko, etc.

I may be confusing him with another player then.. Thought he had wheels.

Nice, I liked this guy in his draft year. Echoing many posters, I think he can do well him a bottom 6 role, while Shinkaruk is more top 6 or bust.

Creates competition for that last roster spot and depth in the AHL, which is always nice.

I'm betting by the end of the year Hathaway is in Stockton or with another franchise all together and Rychel is a regular with the Flames.

I think the Flames probably win this trade but I also don’t think it will impact either NHL team in any significant way.

That's fair. I'm not upset to see Shinkaruk leave, and I feel like Rychel has a higher floor with a similar ceiling to Shinkaruk, so I'd say the odds of him doing something useful are better than we had before, but the odds of either of them being an impact player at this point are... Marginal at best.

I will take that bet. Bet Hathaway ends up a mainstay on the 4th line and rychel will be flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog #### out of Hong Kong
