I have a theory we'll be full retro next year.
I think the jersey timeline to replace what we have now is adding a 3rd/Retro this year (I'm guessing retro), making a matching white next year to make them the full time and then a year (or two) after that a new alternate

That actually makes a lot of sense and would be extremely popular yet so simple.
In other words: never going to happen.

I hope before they go do the China Games. That'd be a nice way to kick off the preseason.

Those can't be real bc they don't have the right collar.

I'm off work for a couple weeks after a minor surgery. Thought I'd try to design something, but I ain't a computer freak, like some of the kids these days, so I took a photo instead of a screenshot.
I'll probably try a couple more classic designs.
Don't worry though, these have absolutely no bearing on what is coming out soon, I'm sure. LOL
Silver was to change it up a bit. Thinking outside the bun.

Well, I'll give serious props. They dont look half bad. I would buy one. Good on you for trying to come up with something new in a relatively boring August.

Yeah I think the idea is pretty cool. Kind of like burning embers.
It probably wouldn't translate well in real life but it's a neat design.

It reminds me of the special jerseys the NHL did a few seasons ago. I forget what they were called. But they had that charcoal look to them.

This is very small, but palettes like this is how we interact with the brand primarily in the first place. With the black, red and yellow template at their disposal the Flames always look dated in graphics like these.
Never mind NHL Tonight's poor choice of palettes in the first place (which I just corrected in #2 for the sake of comparison)... but the Flames brand really takes a huge jump bringing the white C back.

I wonder what the retros would look like with smokey grey lettering and numbers would look like? Maybe look better on the whites then the reds but could be a cool look.

Call me crazy, but this is actually a really cool design for an alternate jersey. Nothing too outlandish, but something unique and new. I like the smoky color.
I think the alternate jersey is where it's okay to think outside the box and try something new. Just give me retro for the home and away.
