Default Online mattresses (Purple, Endy, Leesa etc)

Anyone have any experience with this stuff? I'm really interested in the purple mattress would love any feedback about it or its competitors. How was it? Were the online reviews accurate?

I have a silk and snow mattress. Researched the construction and makeup of them before buying, seemed to be a better one for proportions. Has been awesome so far, been on it since April and it's quite comfy. Mid firm, not hot, and just have no pressure points at all. Pretty happy with it but have nothing to compare to. I would have tried purple

I can't comment on Purple, but we have a Novosleep mattress and we are very pleased with it. Ordering an online mattress and having it shipped to me vs. going to Sleep Country looking for a mattress, never going to a mattress store again, online all the way.

Geez guys I am a big online shopper and worked at Sleep Country for 17 years and had a hard time figuring what mattress to order before I left. I am not sure how anyone orders a bed online unless you can sleep anywhere. Would never work for me.

Yah, I was weary of foam too having had a couple of foam mattress toppers in the past but this stays surprisingly cool. As a shift worker sleeping during the day in the heat that was a huge thing.

As an aside, for my camping trailer I bought a Walmart bed in a box down in the US for like $250. It's hotter and softer but still comfy

I have a mattress with three inches of foam on the top layer. I highly recommend it, along with foam pillows, I have barely touched my home theater. Watching a movie in bed is the most comfortable place I have.

We use the Endy Mattress for our mattress and all four of our Bed and Breakfast room mattresses. We enjoy it and get good reviews and feedback from many of our guests about the comfort of our beds.

From what I can tell, most of the companies are relatively interchangeable for these boxed mattresses. There are slight foam differences which change the hardness/softness, but beyond that they are about the same. We went with Endy because they are Canadian. This meant that unlike some of the other big ones such as Casper, they were cheaper due to not having to convert a US price. This was a couple of years ago not before some of the other newer online mattress options as well as the sleep country one came into existence.

I may have a referral code floating around still if you want it.

Bought this in a king size from Amazon for $300 on Prime day. It is definitely firm but quite comfortable, no regrets.

Also this mattress bed frame is amazing for storage.

Also,

Leery: cautious or wary due to realistic suspicions.

I think it's just a matter of people combining Leery and Wary without realizing it.

Don't have a purple, but there was some brouhaha about the powder on their mattresses.

Some where claiming that it was toxic or the fine powder could cause respiratory problems as it can even travel through linens.

Purple started suing and claiming that these concerns were a ploy by their competitors.

FWIW.

I did the exact same thing on a lark as it was so cheap. I thought, if it sucks, I can cut it smaller and let a kid use it or throw it in the rv. It is very comfortable and I'm guessing it will get a little softer with use. We love that it doesn't transfer motion and doesn't seem too hot.

You could buy 10 of these for the price of one tempurpedic. I've laid on parents temper and i cant tell the difference

Picked up an Endy about a year ago. Still enjoying it.

Whichever one you pick just look at the reviews to determine how firm/soft they are. The reviews for the Endy seemed fairly accurate and lead us to get that one over the Casper.

I think any of the bigger players have a ~3 month guarantee. No reason not to try it out.

We just bought a memory foam King on amazon for about $250 US

We've had it for about 4-5 years and it's still as good as the first day we bought it

I have a Leesa mattress and couldn't love it more. Stays cool, very comfortable with no sag and no box spring below. My only issue is that I am a warm sleeper so the odd time it does hold some heat, however one roll to the other side and i'm cold and happy again
