I mean do we even know if that's Dougies twitter account?
It might just be a fan account people assume its his.

Probably doesn’t want to see Flames related news in his feed constantly. I understand that. At the same time I guess he didn’t have any real relationship with many of the Flames younger players and that says a lot considering he wanted to be around younger teammates.

There has been so much smoke from many different sources that obviously Dougie wasn't a fit with the team for whatever reason. Very odd.

His verified Instagram account still follows a bunch of the Flames for what it's worth.

What Tweet?
If you're asking about Treliving's comments they were right after the trade. I can try to find the video or audio of it.

c) Social media is taken too seriously anyway. It's not real, or an accurate representation of any one's life, but a filtered projection with full of gaps for people to fill in with their worst assumptions. Best to stay away altogether for high profile people, except for putting out good messages or promoting some charity event. I'd say Johnny is an example of a savvy user, or Luongo who can crack innocent jokes, even at his own expense.

Eh, I don't blame the guy too much - I remember trying out for the Royals when I was a fifteen, and finding most of the established players to be utterly repellant.
I can see where being around hockey players 24/7 is not appealing, no matter how much you make.

When I was 15, I found most of the 18 and 19 year old guys were repellant - therefore hanging out with hockey players (i.e. other people my age who play the same game I do) is not appealing.
Hot take.

Ya, Flames are definitely at least average. Hanifin and Giordano are very good, Brodie is a legit 3/4 dman, Hamonic can still hang in there as a number 4 dman. Stone is weak and is a replacement level player, but overall the Flames are at least average.

Scorching.
I'm only saying it's not for everyone. Some guys can take or leave hockey - Ken Dryden was that way. There are atypical hockey players, and they don't always gel.
Who cares if this guy unfollows some people on Twitter. It's irrelevant. If he wasn't friends with them, he wasn't friends with them.

Isn't this baseless speculation on an unverified Twitter account with no visible activity in years, following a total of 19 people???

It wasn't an article on the Leafs. It was an article on the Flames.
