Big ups to Shapo and his camp for making some very much needed changes to his service motion over the last few weeks off. It takes a lot of guts to recognize a change was needed and take them on mid season.
Have to start wondering whether the Mom/Son coaching arrangement becomes full time again if things pick back up for Denis now...

Another fun day scheduled for today. I don't give Peter Polansky much chance of upsetting Joker, but hopefully Milos, Denis, and Felix can all prevail in their matches.

A left wrist injury for Delpo forces him to withdraw from the Rogers Cup.

Pretty great event from Polansky. If it continues, this level of play will give himself a decent shot of finally getting over the top 100 hump by the end of the US Open swing.

Due to the rain delay, Shapo's match has been moved from Centre Court to Grandstand and will start once the Youzny - Hasse match ends.

Pretty even match thus far between Milos and Tiafoe, but Milos' return game is struggling a bit.
Tiebreak to decide the first set.

Lethargic tiebreak from Milos. Tiafoe takes the opening set.

Not a good sign when he return numbers are this bad.....Milos doesn't usually flip a switch in matches like this. When he's off, he's off.

I agree. He's returning better in the second set, but he's getting points because of Tiafoe's errors versus Milos hitting winners.
Looks like more rain is starting?
