Just watching this and its a bad situation to put Maziel in. It takes time to absorb a pro football playbook. You can't just throw a guy in after probably a week of work and expect instant results. At the same time, if your going to do that you cut your playbook way down, find the plays that he's comfortable and run them until he finds a rhythm.
It doesn't help that he doesn't have a lot of weapons to lean on early.

Boy on 2nd a 2 yards and the Als are calling cover 3, that's just bad playcalling.

Personally, I wouldn't put too much stock in this game by Maziel, he's been on team for just over a week, he hasn't played pro football in ~3 years and that Montreal O-line and receiving core is terrible. Montreal is such a mess.

^^ Montreal is pretty much the CFL equivalent of the Cleveland Browns right now. Possibly worse.

Manziel’s problem too is that his team doesn’t have a CFL coach. And I’m guessing Sherman is maybe not that into his new gig so not sure how prepared he will get Manziel for games.
And for a laugh google Sherman trying to remove a headset.

Manziel's problem is that he doesn't know how to play quarterback.
You can't do that freelancing improv BS in pro football as your primary modus operandi. You need to throw the football.
Johnny Manziel is an undersized, under armed running QB, and those types of players are inherently limited. Any NFL exec who stakes his reputation to this guy is going to be fired.

Chris Jones loves himself some Chris Jones. Anything for attention.
Especially in the deep south, as that's where his next coaching gig is likely to be.

If you want to find out how much smarter Chris Jones is than everyone else, just ask Chris Jones.

And if the CFL wants to attract an audience, maybe they shouldn't be showing Cokeheads 4 INTs more than Armanti Edwards' game winning catch across all social media platforms.

Cokehead doubled Montreal's attendance and the tv ratings will prob be the highest of the year that didn't have a Roughrider in it.

Raiders have waived former Stamps DB/SAM linebacker Shaq Richardson. There likely isn't any cap space left to bring him back to Calgary without cutting somebody else loose.

Anyone been to Regina and the new stadium for a game?
Have some work in a couple weeks there and probably going to catch the Stamps game. Any suggestions on where to sit to have a good time?

I was here at the Stamps - Riders game two weeks ago. Phenomenal stadium. Really makes you wonder how we have such terrible facilities in Calgary
I don’t think there’s really a bad place to sit, determine your price that you’re willing to pay and find seats that work for you. I sat in the second bowl in the corner opposite Pil Country and had a great view of the field. The second bowl is steeper so it keeps everything closer to the field.
Everyone is super friendly, you won’t have any issues wearing an opposing team’s jersey there (if you’re a Stamps fan)

I was just there this weekend, sadly there was no game on. It is absolutely gorgeous. First time I'd seen it in person.
I'm sure there's not a bad seat in the stadium and I have absolutely no idea where the less hostile areas of the stadium are at new mosaic. Like any stadium I'd say the more you spend, the less likelihood you'll be sitting amongst drunks.
Not like the good old days where the east side student section at Taylor Field was sit at your own risk for opposing fans.
Realistically, anywhere is probably fine.
