I guess Jim Nantz has now officially decided to change the name of the Red Zone to the Gold Zone since the mighty Chargers use the Gold Zone instead...and he's obviously in love with them.

That is 2 TD's that shouldn't have counted.

He's the only pbp announcer on either network that forms a bias before the game and then carries it over to his call.
That Pete Rose question ****ed me off too.

I believe this is what one would classify as a drubbing...really not a surprise with San Diego on a roll and the Broncos breaking in a new QB.
I am busting out on the pickem so far today though....may lose the lead by tomorrow nights game.

Because Gates didn't push off? Because the Broncos defense should get TD's called back because they can't cover guys?

Yeah, it's not unexpected and I put 16 on San Diego. But its still frustrating to watch 2 TD's that shouldn't have counted (I'm sure they would've scored anyway) and listen to Nantz' love in call of the game.
If Denver's OL could pass protect Cutler might actually get to throw the ball deep once or twice.

I thoought LT's was pretty close, but that final TD by Gates looked good. Lynch looked like he was upset, but he was talking to his own player and not the Ref so he must have been expecting some help.
Edit: OK, on that replay there was more contact that I initially saw.

Currently making some pasta sauce here, I missed the Rose question; what did Shantz have to say?

MLB invited Pete Rose to the All-star game (if I remember correctly) several years back. It was the first time Rose had been allowed to be associated with the game since his ban. Before the thing got started down on the field, Nantz was interviewing Rose on camera and very disrespectfully asked Rose to come clean and admit to America that he bet on baseball.
Classless.

Ah yes, I remember now.
I've switched the channel now. Hoping the Seahawks can figure out a way to come together. Right now they looked primed for an early trip home once the 2nd season starts.
I hated losing JJeravicus...

Yeah, like I said..it wouldn't have effected the outcome of the game and I'm sure on the LT one they could've managed to get it in from the 3 inch line but it is still frustrating.
I just hope Cutler gets turned loose in the second half. Score doesn't matter.
Tatum Bell has turned into a player this year.

That's what I've been looking forward to. He's got similar skills (not level) to what John Elway had. Strong arm, mobile.

I thought that was Jim Grey who did that at a World Series game when Rose made the all century team. Next game Chad Curtis wouldn't talke to him after hitting the Game winning home run.

You're absolutely correct.
My apologies to Jim Nantz.

Maybe Kiel was high on 'lean' on that play.
I like Tony Sheffler. He's good.
