Burke confirms that last summer, it came down to Iginla or Jagr and they had long discussions with Jarome. They went with Jagr instead obviously.

Wasn’t Jarome unavailable as he was having hip surgery at the beginning of the 17/18 season?

Getting Jagr was still cool.
