though he's probably at his fifth one, Pollock's been noticable. A goal cutting to the center, a shootout goal, and a backhand sauce assist.

re: Dube i think he has been a beast. best player on the ice. not sure what you're watching.

I thought Dube was the best forward out there today. There is no doubt in my mind that Dube will be an NHLer, it's just how good he will be is the question.

McMann stood out the most for me for the walk-ins. Nice speed and skill from him.

Conroy mentioned Sveningson prior to the start. How did he look?

We named our eldest after Mr. Freeman. Cheers for the chuckle this morning!

Wasn't as competitive as past years but you can also tell by the rosters that it was going to be quite the same. All video taken and will be uploaded after

Few things i joticed today:

Pospisil , rusika , fisher and healy all were going at it pretty good. Pospisil and fisher in particular.

Dube and valimaki showed really strong poise with the puck, could tell they were just way more comfortable and collected on the ice.

I liked petterson at times. Showed good hockey intellegence on several plays

Phillips showed flahes of high end skill.

I liked galadja quite a bit.

Tuulola was noticeable

Tuulola may not jump and stick out but I'm confident this guy is going to be a player for this team. Seems every year he's in the noticeable group.

MEP has such fluid skating, he looked like a pro when he was distributing the puck on the special teams practice.

Hopefully he pans out.

Koumontzis is also a total goon, he took the only penalties this morning (i thought they were both really weak calls though)

Pospisil had a very high hard hit on fisher that could have been called and also clipped someone with stick in the face later.

How was Foo looking? Is he going to challenge for a 4th line spot this year?

Thanks, wondering if the Flames will still take Foo to China for marketing purposes. Would be cool if flames have a special jersey with Chinese translation of the flames name on it!

Poised and creative, but not explosive like Dube or some of the other burners. Kind of reminded me of someone like Huselius? IDK

Personally only saw him once but again, was at defending net. They did not switch sides often.

Non existant.

I thought valamaki partner pachal was much more active and noticeable than he was.
