Wonder if they'll have any cheap Stajans kicking around during stampede.. Might be worth a shot at swapping it

It's probably been asked before, but is there a good place that can swap nameplates "easily"? I always thought it wasn't really possible.

My old man has a Stajan jersey that I'd love to be able to just update for him so long as it doesn't wreck the integrity of the jersey itself.

IIRC if it's a stitched on namebar, its not too difficult to swap out. You only really run into problems if it was heat pressed.

I think the biggest problem is swapping numbers. They leave the outline on the uniform.

This.

Numbers can be tricky, it depends on who did the work originally. Some come off nicely, others not so much. I've got a few different cleaning methods that have made previously numbered jerseys look brand new. But you never know.

Royle9 - I've done a few name/number swaps for the good folks on CP, you can contact me if you like: josh@northstarjerseys.com

Oh No! Lindholm isn't even on their roster list on Flames.com! #greentext.

As seen on reddit...

Ouch? surely he knew he wasn't returning?
Versteeg does have a great sense of humor so hopefully joking.

If Versteeg retires lets keep him to put on the radio and run the Flames' social media. Guy is hilarious

Don't know if they played together but both were in the Canes system at the same time

Likely joking. I know a few people who are quite connected with Kris back in Lethbridge and the consensus seems to be that he would love to stay in Calgary but he’s known for quite some time that he likely wasn’t coming back.

I like the guy but it was time to move on.

Man, I know it's only a tweet but the one below Versteeg pisses me off. So Stajan wasn't a top player - the guy played his guts out. I wouldn't "rejoice" that he's gone (in fact, I wish they'd find something for him to do - I think he has knowledge and experience to pass on. I think his hockey IQ was good, he was good at faceoffs and PK which he could teach. But more than that - the guy was drafted as a skill guy but played over 1000 games because he adapted his game and accepted roles. That's not nothing.
